‘Bill met Eve when he was stationed at Ballykelly in Ireland.

He used to ride down the street on his motorcycle doing tricks to try and impress her... it worked!

Bill was a Rear Gunner in WW02, he had a dog called Libby, named after the Liberator aircraft. She took every flight with him and saw him through some of his darkest days.

After the war ended, Bill and Eve spent the rest of their lives with each other.

We believe they are all now flying high, together again.’
