Enjoy The Ride Sweatshirt - Dusty Green

Inspired by our much loved Agricultural and Country Shows that we attend throughout the summer, this is our ‘Enjoy the Ride’ Sweat. 

'With her battered old landy full of flowers for the horticultural tent, Lady Muck is driving to her favourite local Show. She’s late as usual and is rushing. She’s got her lippy on but has swapped her heels for her wellies. It’s her favourite time of year and she’s looking forward to catching up with old friends, enjoying a Pimms or two, listening to some live music and browsing the fabulous stalls. She can’t wait to visit the Craft Tent to pick up some handicrafts and a new Sweatshirt from her favourite stall, Luce and Bear!

She’s also looking forward to watching the proud local farmers parade their prized animals, cheering on the fell runners, watching the sheep shearers compete, watching all the horse classes, and she’s hoping for a spectacular display from skilled stunt riders! She’ll enjoy all the tasters in the food tent, and have something delicious for lunch, plus pick up some local produce to take home later.

Lady Muck loves seeing the rural communities come together each year for this annual show, keeping countryside traditions alive and showcasing the very best of Yorkshire. She’s hoping to come home with a rosette or two for her flower displays but if not, she’ll remind herself that it’s the taking part that matters! 

She will drive home with a full heart and smile on her face. She will enjoy the glorious views of Yorkshire and take in the nature all around her. Most importantly she will have been reminded to slow down in life, enjoy the little things and remember to enjoy the ride!’
